August 26, 2009, 4-6 PM, Raleigh Convention Center
As of June, all new LEED projects are to be registered under the new 2009 standards. This new format represents the most exciting and progressive changes to the LEED process so far, and is a great opportunity for building owners and designers to push their performance expectations. The August talk-n-walk will be an introductory resource to realizing the affects of LEED BD&C on our design decisions.
We are pleased to have Shelley McPhatter present key differences between LEED 2.2 and 2009, and facilitate a group discussion of current users of the new Rating system. Ms. McPhatter is the president of Bridgepoint CS, in Durham, has extensive experience in LEED projects and their construction, and has been an active member of the Triangle green building community. She is a great resource for effectively navigating the LEED changes, and all members are encouraged to attend.
Come and share your experience in working with LEED NC 2.2 and 2009 with colleagues and friends. There will also be information on hand for LEED Accredited Professional changes.
Attendance is limited, RSVP on the events calender at www.triangleusgbc.org.
Free for chapter members and $10 for non-members.
(2) AIA CEU credits will be available for this event.
Please email Julia Janaro at education@triangleusgbc.org with any questions.
